Moving Forward

A beautiful self-portrait that I created celebrating the triumph over crisis. It's an original oil painting using a limited palette. When viewing the painting up close, the viewer can see that each part of the painting shows mastery of various brush strokes and color usage. A rainbow of colors are delicately applied to give life to the variety of tones throughout the painting. Impasto is used in the hair to represent the free-flow of my new life.
